SOME INFORMATION ABOUT THE REGULATION
Scope of the Regulation
The regulation covers the conformity assessment of machinery, components and safety elements used in machinery.
Legal Status:
From 5 June 1991, the MachinerySafety Directive has become mandatory in the Member States. May 5, 2002 in Turkey with the Machinery Safety Directive (98/37 / EC) was published and became mandatory on 1 January 2004.
Conformity Assessment in Machinery Safety Regulation:
There are 2 ways to get a CE mark on a product covered by the Machinery Safety Regulation.
1. CE marking with manufacturer's declaration
2. CE Marking by the Manufacturer after the Notified Body Intervention (Machines within the scope of ANNEX IV)
